Naomi Woods and Edgar-Aaron Fernandez met online on Sunday, May 7, 2017. They pressed the fast-forward button on traditional online dating (many days of... online chat -> text messages -> voice calling -> video chat) by video chatting the next day. About one month later on Friday, June 16, 2017, they met in Seattle, Washington. Another month passes and they met again on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Two days before Edgar-Aaron's return flight on Saturday, July 29th, American Airlines sent him an email advising him to change his flight to a later date because of inclement weather in the northeast so he changed it to Sunday night. That Saturday afternoon, he asked her to sing him a song. She sang Adele’s “Make you feel my love” and played it on her piano. He proposed to her after she sang the verse:
"I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I will never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong"

Edgar-Aaron knows now that if he had gotten on that plane on Saturday morning, like he planned, he wouldn’t be engaged. It’s crazy how 6 more hours with someone changes your whole life. They are each others' best friends, true loves, and badass partners in life. They are quickly making it official!
